Singing May Be Good Medicine for Parkinson’s Patients

Voice coaching appears to help swallowing and breathing, study finds.

Singing? To benefit people with Parkinson’s disease? It just may help, a researcher says.”We’re not trying to make them better singers, but to help them strengthen the muscles that control swallowing and respiratory function, said Elizabeth Stegemoller, an assistant professor of kinesiology at Iowa State University.

Singing uses the same muscles as swallowing and breathing control, two functions affected by Parkinson’s disease. Singing significantly improves the muscle activities. Other benefits noted by patients, their families and caregivers include improvements in mood, stress and depression.

Parkinson‘s disease is a chronic and progressive movement disorder. Nearly one million Americans live with the disease. The cause isn’t known, and there is no cure at present. But there are treatment options such as medication and surgery to manage symptoms, according to the Parkinson‘s Disease Foundation.

Symptoms can include tremors of the hands, arms, legs, jaw and face; slowness of movement; limb rigidity; and problems with balance and coordination.

Major Sign and symptoms That Are Related To High Blood Pressure (HBP)

Are There Really Signs And Symptoms Of High Blood Pressure?

High blood pressure usually has no signs or symptoms, and so hypertension has been labeled “the silent killer.” Longstanding high blood pressure can lead to multiple complications including heart attack, kidney disease, or stroke, so the only way to know if you have high blood pressure is to have yours measured.

Some people experience symptoms with their high blood pressure. These symptoms include:

*.Headache- usually, this will last for      several days.

*.Nausea – a sensation of unease and      discomfort in the stomach with an      urge to vomit.

*.Vomiting – less common than just        nausea.

*.Dizziness – Light headedness,                unsteadiness, and vertigo.

*.Blurred ordouble vision (diplopia).

*.Epistaxis – nosebleeds.

*.Palpitations – disagreeable                      sensations of irregular and/or                forceful beating of the heart.

*.Dyspnea – breathlessness, shortness    of breath.

What Causes High Blood Pressure?

For most people, there may be no single cause for their High Blood Pressure. We do not know exactly what causes High Blood Pressure. We do know that your lifestyle can affect your risk of developing it.

There are some factors that increase your risk of developing high blood pressure, which you cannot control. These include:

Age: as you get older, the effects of an unhealthy lifestyle can build up and your blood pressure can increase.

Ethnic origin: people from African-Caribbean and South Asian communities are at greater risk than other people of High Blood Pressure.

Family history: you are at greater risk if other members of your family have had High Blood Pressure.

Temperature: A study that monitored 8,801 participants over the age of 65 found that systolic and diastolic blood pressure values differed significantly across the year and according to the distribution of outdoor temperature. Blood pressure was lower when it got warmer, and rose when it got colder.

Obesity and overweight: Both overweight and obese people are more likely to develop high blood pressure, compared to people of normal weight.

Smoking: Smoking causes the blood vessels to narrow, resulting in higher blood pressure. Smoking also reduces the blood’s oxygen content so the heart has to pump faster in order to compensate, causing a rise in blood pressure.

Alcohol intake: People who drink regularly have higher systolic blood pressure than people who do not, according to researchers. They found that systolic blood pressure levels are about 7 mmHg higher in frequent drinkers than in people who do not drink.

Mental stress: Various studies have offered compelling evidence that mental stress, especially over the long term, can have a serious impact on blood pressure. One study suggested thatthe way that air traffic controllers handle stress can affect whether theyare at risk of developing high blood pressure later in life.

Diabetes: People with diabetes are at a higher risk of developing hypertension. Among patients with type 1 diabetes, high blood sugar is a risk factor for incident hypertension – effective and consistent blood sugar control, with insulin, reduces the long-term risk of developing hypertension.

Psoriasis: A study that followed 78,000 women for 14 years found that having psoriasis was linked to a higher risk of developing high blood pressure and diabetes. Psoriasis is an immune system condition that appears on the skin in the form of thick, red scaly patches.

Pregnancy: Pregnant women have a higher risk of developing hypertension than women of the same age who are not pregnant. It is the most common medical problem encountered during pregnancy, complicating 2% to 3% of all pregnancies.

Tips To Get Your Blood Pressure Down To Normal.

The 2004 British Hypertension Society guidelines proposed lifestyle changes consistent with those outlined by the US National High BP Education Program in 2002 for the primary prevention of hypertension:

*.maintain normal body weight for        adults (e.g.body mass index 20–25        kg/m2)

*.reduce dietary sodium intake to            <100 mmol/ day (<6 g of sodium            chloride or <2.4 g of sodium per            day)

*.engage in regular aerobic physical      activity such as brisk walking (≥30      min per day, most days of the week)

*.limit alcohol consumption to no            more than 3 units/day in men and        no more than 2 units/day in women

*.consume a diet rich in fruit and            vegetables (e.g. at least five portions    per day);

Sometimes there is quite a bit you can do with lifestyle changes, and in some people this may help them to avoid medications.

High Blood Pressure(HBP)- World Most Deadliest “Secret Killer”

Not many would know that High Blood Pressure (HBP) is also refer to as Hypertension (HTN or HT) many think this two are different from each other whereas they are both the same in definitions. I would define Hypertension to as the end result of High Blood Pressure.

Hypertension (HTN or HT), also known as High Blood Pressure (HBP), is along-termmedical condition in which the blood pressure in the arteries is persistently elevated.
If a person has High Blood Pressure it means that the walls of the arteries are receiving too much pressure repeatedly – the pressure needs to be chronically elevated for a diagnosis of Hypertension to be confirmed.
It is known as the “silent killer” since it has no initial symptoms. If left untreated or uncontrolled, high blood pressure can cause many health problems. These conditions include heart failure, vision loss, stroke, and kidney disease

Hypertension is the most important preventable risk factor for premature death worldwide. Many people have High Blood Pressure and don’t know it. The American Heart Association estimates high blood pressure affects approximately one in three adults in the United States, or about 76.4 million people. High Blood Pressure has become the second most common reason for medical office visits in the United States.

As of 2014, approximately one billion adults or ~22% of the population of the world have Hypertension. It is slightly more frequent in men, in those of low socioeconomic status, and prevalence increases with age. It is common in high, medium and low income countries. In Europe hypertension occurs in about 3045% of people as of 2013. In 1995 it was estimated that 43 million people (24% of the population) in the United States had hypertension or were taking anti-hypertensive medication. By 2004 this had increased to 29% and further to 34% (76 million US adults) by 2006. African American adults in the United States have among the highest rates of hypertension in the world at 44%. It is also more common in Filipino Americans and less common in US whites and Mexican Americans.

Types Of High Blood Pressure

There are two main types of high blood pressure: primary and secondary High Blood Pressure.

Primary or Essential High Blood Pressure

Primary, or essential, High Blood Pressure is the most common type of high blood pressure. This type of high blood pressure tends to develop over years as a person ages. In as many as 95% of reported High Blood Pressure cases in the U.S. and worldwide the underlying cause cannot be determined. Essential Hypertension is also greatly influenced by diet and lifestyle. The link between salt and high blood pressure is especially compelling. By contrast, people who add no salt to their food show virtually no traces of essential Hypertension.

The majority of all people with High Blood Pressure are “salt sensitive,” meaning that anything more than the minimal bodily need for salt is too much for them and increases their blood pressure. Other factors that can raise the risk of having essential hypertension include obesity; diabetes; stress; insufficient intake of potassium, calcium, and magnesium; lack of physical activity; and chronic alcohol consumption. The possible role of other factors such as caffeine consumption, and vitamin D deficiency are less clear.

One review suggest that sugar may play an important role in hypertension and salt is still one of the major causes of High Blood Pressure.

Secondary High Blood Pressure

Secondary High Blood Pressure is caused by another medical condition or use of certain medicines. Birth control pills– specifically those containing estrogen– and pregnancy can boost blood pressure, as can medications that constrict blood vessels. So we say when a direct cause for high blood pressure can be identified, the condition is now described as Secondary Hypertension.

How do you detect High Blood Pressure?

Unless your blood pressure is super-high, you won’t know unless it is measured. If blood pressure is very high, it can give you symptoms such as headaches. But usually you only know it’s ‘up‘ because it has been checked. Healthy adults should have a blood pressure check at least from the age of 40. It will be checked regularly at a younger age in conditions such as diabetes mellitus, pregnancy or kidney diseases. It will be checked more frequently (every 612 months) as you get older.

You can check your blood pressure on our Blood Pressure Chart.

How To Measure Your (HBP) Using Blood Pressure Chart And A Sphygmomanometer

Blood pressure chart Use the blood pressure chart below to see what your blood pressure means. The blood pressure chart is suitable for adults of any age. (The level for high blood pressure does not change with age.)

Blood pressure readings have two numbers, for example 140/90mmHg. Anyone whose blood pressure is 140/90 mmHg or more for a sustained period is said to have High Blood Pressure, or Hypertension. This readings in which…..

The top number is your systolic blood pressure. (The highest pressure when your heart beats and pushes the blood round your body.) And the bottom one is your diastolic blood pressure. (The lowest pressure when your heart relaxes between beats.)

Normal Blood Pressure

Normal blood pressure for adults is defined as a systolic pressure below 120 mmHg and a diastolic pressure below 80 mmHg. It is normal for blood pressures to change when you sleep, wake up, or are excited or nervous. When you are active, it is normal for your blood pressure to increase. However, once the activity stops, your blood pressure returns to your normal baseline range.
Blood pressure normally rises with age and body size. Newborn babies often have very Low Blood Pressure numbers that are considered normal for babies, while older teens have numbers similar to adults.

Abnormal Blood Pressure

Abnormal increases in blood pressure are defined as having blood pressures higher than 120/80 mmHg.

To determine your blood pressure a machine called (sphygmomanometer) is used. A cuff is placed around your upper arm and is then tightened by pumping air into the cuff. It is then gradually let down (deflated) while the pressure readings are taken. This is usually done two or three times over a few minutes. You’ll find your blood pressure tends to bob up and down so it’s usually checked a few times before any treatment is considered. Get Yours Today…. Click here For A Free Shipping Offer.

The blood pressure chart below shows ranges of high, low and healthy blood pressure readings.
Using this blood pressure chart: To work out what your blood pressure readings mean, just find your top number (systolic) on the left side of the blood pressure chart and read across, and your bottom number (diastolic) on the bottom of the blood pressure chart. Where the two meet is your blood pressure.

High blood pressure (for example, 180/110 or higher) may indicate an emergency situation. If this high blood pressure is associated with chest pain, shortness of breath, headache, dizziness, or back or abdominal pain, seek medical care immediately. If you are experiencing no associated symptoms with a High Blood Pressure reading such as this, re-check it again within a few minutes and contact your doctor or go to an emergency room if it is still high.

How Change In Lifestyle Can Go A Long Way In improve your sex life

Exercise, diet changes may help reverse ED

If erectile dysfunction has you down, and you don’t want to relyon drugs, these five natural solutions, as found in theHarvard Special Health ReportErectile Dysfunction: How medication, lifestyle changes, and other therapies can help you conquer this vexing problem, may reverse your ED and improve your sex life. They are easy to adopt and enrich your health in other ways, too.

1. Begin walking. Just 30 minutes of walking a day was linked with a 41% drop in risk for ED, according to one Harvard study, while a separate trial reported that moderate exercisecan help restore sexual performance in obese, middle-aged men with ED.

2. Eat right. Go bullish on fruit, vegetables, whole grains, and fish—a diet that lessened the likelihood of ED in the Massachusetts Male Aging Study—while downplaying red and processed meat and refined grains.

Another tip: chronic deficiencies in vitamin B12—found in clams, salmon, trout, beef, fortified cereals, and yogurt—may harm the spinal cord, potentially short-circuiting nerves responsible for sensation as well as for relaying messages to arteries in the penis.

Vitamins and fortified foods are the best bets for those who absorb B12 poorly, including many older adults and anyone with atrophic gastritis, a condition that may affect nearly one in three people ages 50 and older.

Also, make sure you get enough vitamin D, which is found in fortified milk or yogurt, eggs, cheese, and canned tuna. A 2016 study in the journal Atherosclerosis found that men with vitamin D deficiency have a 30% greater risk for ED.

3. Slim down. Obesity raises risks for vascular disease and diabetes, two major causes of ED. And excess fat tinkers with several hormones that may feed into the problem, too. The smaller your waist, the better—a man with a 42-inch waist is 50% more likely to have ED than one with a 32-inch waist.

4. Check your vascular health. Signs that put you on the road topoor vascular health include soaring blood pressure, blood sugar, LDL (bad) cholesterol, and triglycerides; and low levels of HDL (good) cholesterol. Check with your doctor to find out whether your vascular system—and thus your heart, brain, and penis—is in good shape or needs a tune-up through lifestyle changes and, if necessary, medications.

5. See your dentist. A 2013 study inThe Journal of Sexual Medicine found an association between gum disease and risk for ED. Gum disease causes chronic inflammation, which is believed to damage the endothelial cells that line blood vessels, including those in your penis.

Create A Meditation Spot

Meditation relieves anxiety, pain, and depression by reducing the amount of the stress hormone cortisol in your bloodstream. Add meditation into your day by setting aside a time and place devoted to deep breathing and focus. Meditating a few minutes a day for a week or two can improve mood and stress levels.

Could Common Vitamin Supplements Raise Lung Cancer Risk In Male Smokers?

Men, and especially male smokers, appear to be more likely to develop lung cancer if they take high doses of vitamins B6 and B12, new research suggests. For men taking these vitamin supplements, the risk of lung cancer was nearly doubled. For men who smoked, the risk was between three and four times higher, the study found.
High-dose of B6 and B12 supplements should not be taken for lung cancer prevention, especially in men, and they may cause harm in male smokers.

However, the study wasn’t designed to prove cause-and-effect between the vitamins and lung cancer; it only showed an association. It’s also not clear why only men and current male smokers seem to face an extra risk.
Most people get enough vitamin B6 through their diets, according to the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH). Some people with certain health conditions may need supplements.

As for vitamin B12, the NIH reports that most people get enough from their diet. But some groups — such as older people and vegetarians — may be deficient and need supplements. The vitamin may also cause interactions with medications.
Dietary sources of vitamin B6 and B12 include fortified cereals and foods that are high in protein.

A new study that included more than 77,000 adults, aged 50 to 76. The participants were recruited from 2000 to 2002, and answered questions about their vitamin use over the previous 10 years.

The researchers found that just over 800 of the study volunteers developed lung cancer over an average follow-up of six years.

The study found no sign of a link between folate (a type of B vitamin) and lung cancer risk. And vitamin B6 and B12 supplements didn’t seem to affect risk in women.

However, it’s found that men who took more than 20 milligrams per day of B6 averaged over 10 years had an 82 percent increased risk of lung cancer relative to men who did not take supplemental B vitamins from any source.

Men who took more than 55 micrograms per day of B12 had a 98 percent increased lung cancer risk relative to men who did not take B vitamins.

Men who smoked at the beginning of the study period and consumed high levels of the B vitamins were three to four times more likely to develop lung cancer.

B6 which is typically sold in 100 mg (milligram) tablets. B12 is often sold between 500 mcg (microgram) and 3,000 mcg tablets.

In contrast, most multivitamins include 100 percent of the U.S. Recommended Dietary Allowance, which is under 2 mg per day for B6 and 2.4 mcg per day for B12. People should really ask themselves if they need over 1,200 times the RDA (recommended daily allowance) of a substance.

The study doesn’t conclusively link higher doses of the vitamins to higher rates of lung cancer. If there is a connection, it’s not clear how the vitamins might influence the cancer risk, but may have something to do with how the vitamins interact with male sex hormones.

There is clearly no evidence that these vitamins have any substantial protective effect on smokers. Smokers taking these vitamins should quit smoking due to a higher risk of lung cancer from higher doses of vitamins.
There’s a strong belief that vitamins would never harm you. As in much of nutrition, the story is more complicated than that.

Marijuana May Help Ease Nerve Pain, Review Finds

Marijuana maybe slightly effective at reducing chronic nerve pain known as neuropathy. But there’s little evidence on whether or not pot helps treat other types of pain or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), a pair of new studies suggests.
Medical marijuana is legal in almost all states in the united States including the District of Columbia for certain medical purposes. Some states may have laws that haven’t yet been implemented, according to NORML, a pro-marijuana legalization group.

But research into the medical uses of marijuana remains controversial. Plus, it’s difficult for scientists to study the drug because it is illegal on the federal level.

However, some research has found positive results. Earlier this year, the National Academy of Sciences released a report saying there is conclusive or substantial scientific evidence that marijuana is effective at treating chronic pain, calming muscle spasms caused by multiple sclerosis, and easing nausea from chemotherapy.

The new reviews into pain and PTSD were commissioned by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The department refused to allow the authors of the reviews to be interviewed to discuss the findings.
For the review of research into chronic nerve pain and marijuana, the researchers examined 27 studies. The investigators determined that there’s “low strength” evidence that marijuana can help nerve pain. But there’s just not enough reliable research to come to a conclusion about whether marijuana is useful for other types of pain, the study authors determined.

The researchers also looked at 32 studies and 11 reviews of research on side effects. They noted several potential risks of marijuana use such as car accidents, psychotic symptoms and short-term cognitive impairment.
However, the review noted that research into risks and side effects is limited.

The researchers said their findings may have “limited applicability to older, chronically ill populations and patients who use cannabis heavily.
Just because states list certain conditions for which medical cannabis can be prescribed does not mean there is strong or rigorous scientific data supporting its use.
Patients should be  aware of potential benefits, and also potential harms before taking this hard drugs.

How To Have Longer Sex With Any Woman: Increase Your Maximum Virility Faster With Awesome Intensity

That little blue pill may provide a temporary hard-on for men at twenty bucks a pop, but there’s not much to it beyond that – no long-term increase in sex drive or performance. It’s simply a way to rent an erection for 20 minutes, after which it goes away.

On a similar note, many guys under 40 routinely ask us about male libido pills and if there’s a way to make sex even more enjoyable naturally. They’re not always looking for help with ED; they’ve just heard about these magic things called male sex pills and that they can make sex nothing shy of ecstasy.

Is there a common denominator between these two demographics? Yup – you just found it.

The Product: VigFX

VigRX Plus is the leading all-natural libido pill for guys, with over a decade of happy clients and (gasp!) clinical studies to verify that it works and is proven to, among other things, increase sex drive by 47%. And improve satisfaction with intercourse by over 71%.

But we’ve never been more excited, because now the makers of VigRX have put this same formula – the same one that’s outsold every competing pill out there because it actually works – and put it in liquid form within a capsule with enteric coating.

All the benefits of VigRX Plus, yet with up to 80% increased absorption, so you get MORE out of an already impressive formula, with an even larger, visually stunning erection, awesome control and a sex drive that, believe us, will keep the bed a-rockin’ for a very long time.

What We Like About It

We like proof. At the end of the day, you’re looking for a product with clinical studies and real reviews of customers who say that it delivers what the company claims. VigRX Plus offers that more than any other male enhancement product on the market.

Now imagine those statistics with a two, even threefold increase in benefits to you. That’s more sex, greater intensity and satisfaction that you’re having the absolute best sex you can imagine – and deserve.

We’re talking about the enteric coating, which protects the contents within the VigRX capsule from stomach acid, and sends up to 90% of it to the intestines, which processes them and puts them to use.

Kinda like giving you a Ferrari with Honda reliability.

You’ll be jumping on VigRX, and we’d put money on it your partner will love it too.

What We Don’t Like About It

VigRX is intense. After all, it’s essentially VigRX Plus, only magnified. Remember what we said earlier about this being a product that guys under 40 will love? Wow, this is it.

This isn’t something we don’t like so much as a heads up: you will desire sex like never before with VigRX. Can you handle that? Can your partner? If you’re not up to that, don’t say we didn’t tell you in advance!

The Company Behind the Product

Leading Edge Health are pioneers in the male enhancement industry, having championed a natural virility supplement that now rivals some prescription ED pills for value. They did that with VigRX Plus. Now they’re increasing the results from that revolutionary product with a new supplement that appeals to men of all ages.

Typical Client

VigRX is good for guys who want a lot of amazing, thoroughly gratifying sex. That’s often younger guys, but we’ve spoken with many men over 60 who love it too.

You’ve got to be ready for what VigRX offers. As long as you know that, and assuming you don’t have any specific medical concerns from prolonged and intense (and very pleasurable!) activity, you should be fine. Speak with your doctor if you’re interested in VigRX yet find yourself in the latter category.

What This Means to YOU

Sex. Lots and lots of wake-up-the-neighbors copulating, whether you’re 19 or 75. VigRX might change the way we look at male enhancement. Let’s put this another way: have you ever thought of buying VigRX Plus but didn’t because you thought it was guys over 45? This is your supplement. You will love VigRX.

VigRX and Clinical Studies

Funny how some men will pay a minimum twenty bucks for a little blue pill that doesn’t increase sex drive, health or ability to maintain an erection beyond one session. You may require a doctor’s note too, and it’s linked to a variety of side effects, from nasal congestion to risk of heart attack.

The alternative to these prescription ED pills is to use a natural male libido supplement, like VigRX Plus, one of the few virility pills for men with clinical studies to vouch that it works. And with a notable list of results, it’s proof that natural ingredients – when carefully assembled and formulated, can truly increase sexual desire and satisfaction.

Now, a new product, VigRX, takes the results of the VigRX Plus study a step further, with an enteric coated capsule that delivers the benefits of VigRX Plus with an extended release, meaning that men get even more out of the VigRX formula with the convenience of a soft-gel capsule.

About the Study

The studies consisted of 75 men between 25 and 50 for a maximum of 84 days. Researchers performed a physical examination and reviewed each man’s medical history on the first day of the study. The researchers scored each man’s potency based on the International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF) on Day 1 and performed follow-up visits at 28 day intervals.

Each man was in a monogamous, heterosexual relationship.

Half of the men took 2 capsules of VigRX Plus each day, at 360 mg per capsule, with meals twice a day for 12 weeks. The other group took a placebo pill at similar dosage with the same instructions.

Researchers monitored each man’s progress with a new IIEF questionnaire and an additional survey, the Erectile Dysfunction Inventory of Treatment Satisfaction (EDITS), on all follow-up visits. As well, consenting partners submitted an EDITS survey on Days 28 an 84 of the study for researchers to gauge female satisfaction with the VigRX Plus formula.

The VigRX Plus Study Results

The VigRX Plus study yields insight into how natural ingredients benefit the male sex drive and function, with a number of results that have raised many an eyebrow in the scientific community. These include:

62.82% – The percentage to which men improved their ability to maintain an erection during penetration.

59.97% – The percentage improvement in ability to penetrate their partner as reported by each man’s partner and her enjoyment of the experience. Meanwhile, the women whose partners took the placebo pills reported a decrease in penetration.

47% – Unlike prescription ED pills, the VigRX Plus formula is designed to increase long-term desire for sex, rather than using a pill for each ‘session’. Case in point, men who took VigRX Plus reported a 47% increase in sexual thoughts.

71.43% – Men who took VigRX Plus were almost six times more likely to be sexually satisfied than men taking a placebo. Specifically, they reported a 71.43% increase in sexual and intercourse satisfaction.

VigRX is the VigRX Formula with Extended Release

Men taking VigRX Plus reported a 61% increase in overall sexual satisfaction, making it the leading natural virility pill for men and legitimate natural alternative for men looking to have more sex and make it more enjoyable.

Now there’s a way to realize even more benefits out of the VigRX Plus formula, with a product that delivers up to 90% more absorption. And that means more benefits.

VigRX is the VigRX Plus formula – the same one painstakingly formulated and proven in clinical studies – with enteric coating. The latter protects the ingredients within the capsule from dissolving in stomach acid and delivers them to the intestines, which puts them to use.

And put them to use it does; while non-enteric products typically have an absorption rate between 10%-15%, an enteric-coated capsule like VigRX hovers at the 90% threshold, allowing for an ‘extended release’ that gives the client even more dramatic sex-enhancing results.

All naturally and with no reported side effects.

VigRX is a game-changer for men looking to increase desire for sex and performance. Designed for men who want the results of the top-selling natural virility pill for men – amplified – it’s appealing to men of many demographics, including younger men, and making sex frequent, intense and very rewarding.

You now know that VigRX Plus is one of the biggest money-makers anywhere, right?

Well consider this. They‘re now offering VigFX as a 15 day trial. You signs up and you have a shiny new bottle of this male powerhouse sitting on your doorstep within several business days. You pays just $6.95 for shipping. Hurry up!!!!

Trial Information:

Each bottle has 30 liquid gelcaps, taken twice a day – a 15 day supply. Offer valid in United States only.

8 Types Of Exercise That Can Help You Get Six Pack Abs Faster Without Side Effect

Related Article

Try These Exercises to Lose Body Fat And Get Six-Packs Within A Month At Home.

Start here…..

At the first article we discuss on two things you need to achieve a Six-Pack goal:

1. Lose fat and

2. Build muscle

It takes dedication, time and patience to get a six pack. You will get this by dieting and exercising consistently. You can have the most toned and muscular abs, but it will not show if there is a layer of fat over them. This article will discuss ways in whichyou can achieve both of these goals.

1. Do Sit Ups

Lie on the floor, feet on the floor, knees up and hands crossed on your chest. Have somebody hold your feet down, or wedge them underneath something heavy. Sit all the way up, lifting your lower back off the floor along with your shoulder blades. Keep your back straight (no hunching). Lower yourself down.

*.Once this becomes relatively easy for you (i.e. you can do aquite a bit with ease) start adding more challenges. Find an incline bench. Do weighted sit ups. Hold a weight on your chest while you do these. As these become easier, hold heavier and heavier weights.

2 Do Crunches.

Lie on the floor (with or without a mat) with your arms in front of your chestor with your hands lightly touching your temples (never behind your head). Bend your knees. Raise your shoulders (upper torso) towards your knees, using strictly your abdominal muscles.

*.It is very important tonotlift your entire back off the floor, as this can cause back strain. Additionally, the extended movement does not help you develop six pack abs any faster.

*.The most important part of the crunch is the initial flexing of your abs as you lift your shoulders off the floor. Concentrate on lifting up more than curling forward. As soon as you begin lifting off the floor, exhale through your mouth and end with your shoulders are off the floor.

*.Pause for a second once you are at the top of the crunch and exhale the last bit of air from your diaphragm while flexing your abs. Lower back down slowly and controlled while inhaling through your nose, just until your shoulder blades touch the ground. Do not let your head touch the ground.

3 Do Leg Lifts.

Lie on the floor, legs straight out, hands at your sides. Lift your legs straight up (not bending your knees at all) until they’re at a 90 degree angle (or close). Lower your legs and repeat without letting your legs touch the floor.

*.For more of a challenge, use a parallel bar at a gym to raise yourself up using your arms as support and dangle your legs.

*.Easy: Just raise your knees to your chest.

*.Medium: Raise your legs to a horizontal position with your legs straight and outstretched. This helps firm up the lower abdomen.

*.Hard: If you’re truly a monster, try doing leg lifts with a medicine ball hanging from your feet. Or, hang from a pull up bar and raise your legs in front of you all the way up to the bar, keeping your legs straight.

4 Do Jackknife Sit Ups.

Lie down flat with your back on the floor.Place your hands on the ground to your sides for balance; you can pick them up as you get used to the movement. Simultaneously raise your knees and torso so that your knees and face meet on an imaginary line extending from your pelvis to the ceiling. You should be able to kiss your knees at the top of the motion. Your legs will naturally fold, bringing your feet towards your hips, much like a jackknife. Lie back down (i.e. “spread out“) and repeat.

5 Do Static Holds (Planks).

Put your body into the push-up position but with your elbows on the floor, and your whole body flat. This position is also known as the plank, and it trains your core (including your abs) to hold the body in place. Hold this position for as long as possible.

*.Beginners should be aiming to start off with at least 45 seconds, while seasoned ab workers are known to achieve over 5 minute static holds.

*.To perform the side static hold, roll onto one side of your body and lift into the same position as before. This time, only one arm should be on the ground, with the other arm pointed straight up the air and your non weight-bearing leg resting on your bottom leg. Once again, hold this for as long as possible.

6 Train Your Oblique Muscles.

It’s not as important to work onyour oblique muscles at first, but eventually you’ll want to start working these too. These are the muscles on either side of your stomach. There are multiple ways to do this and anything that includes twisting your torso against a resistance counts. There are twisting machines at gyms; you can twist while you do sit-ups; you can do side bends; you can twist side to side with a medicine ball in hand, etc. Be aware though, that many beginners tend to have weak obliques compared to their abs (it simply isn’t used as much in daily life) so go easy on the sides at first.

7 Do Pull-ups Hanging From A Horizontal Bar.

You will be amazed at the number of muscles around your stomach working with pull-ups. Do 5 pull-ups with your palms facingaway from you and 5 pull-ups with your palms facing towards you. This will also build your lats and biceps at the same time.

*.Add complex core-movements to your workout. That will boost your overall body constitution tremendously. For example, combine push-ups with rows. Go into a push-up position on two dumbbells. Now don’t do a push-up, but instead start to row alternating dumbbells. See how much power you need only to hold balance? Combine exercises! Be creative.

8 Do Dragon flags.

It is also known as reverse crunches, and it is the most extreme form of abdominal exercises, Bruce Lee and Sylvester Stallone have done this great workout. Lie on your back on a bench or bed, place your hands behind your head and hold onto the edge of the bench or bed. Balancing on the back of your shoulder blades and not applying full pressure on the back of your neck, tighten your abs like bracing yourself for a punch along with your legs and butt. Raise your legs and lower back off the surface and bring it down to 45 degree angle, not letting your butt touch the surface. Do not bend your hips when raising or declining.

This type of move places extreme strain on the neck and may be harmful, especially if done with poor form.

9 Train Your Entire Core.

To build really great abs it’s helpful understand what abs do. Their full name is “rectus abdominis. The “rectus” bit is Latin for “straight, proper, upright.” Contrary to popular opinion, the abdominals’ primary job is not to curl you up into a ball, but rather to work together with the back muscles to maintain correct posture and stabilization. Some of the best exercises for abs are ones that force your entire core to go into over drive to support your spine. Some exercises that do this are squats and deadlifts.

Make sure you give yourself an adequate amount of rest (Seven to nine hours for adults, and 810 hrs for kids and teenagers). When exercising you actually break down the muscle which needs proper time to heal (and eat the proper foods) they will grow back stronger than before.

Also make sure towarm upbefore exercising. It may help to use a record-keeper or plan book for yourexercise program. Exercise journals are fantastic for this purpose because as you enter daily information in the journal, you’re putting together a complete record that can be referred back toin the future.

HAIR loss, also known as balding or alopecia affects thousands of men each year – and, according to the NHS around half will suffer before they reach the age of fifty. It’s no surprise there’s an abundance of tales on how you can combat hair loss using at-home remedies. Some believe hair oil massages, onion juice, liquorice and fenugreek are just some of the remedies which can help prevent baldness.
Dietary supplements are sometimes typically recommended. There is only one small trial of saw palmet to which shows tentative benefit in those with mild to moderate androgenetic alopecia. There is no evidence forbiotin. Evidence for most other produces is also insufficient. There is good evidence forgingko, aloe vera, ginseng, bergamot, hibiscus, or sorphoraas are beneficial to hair loss. Many people use treatments like Egg oil, in Indian, Japanese Unani(Roghan Baiza Murgh) and Chinese traditional medicine, was traditionally used as a treatment for hair loss.

What Vitamins Are Good For Hair Loss?

Are there home remedies for hair loss? A good daily multi vitamin containing zinc, vitamin B, foliate, iron, and calcium is a reasonable choice, this vitamins have good benefit in treating alopecia. Newer studies suggest that vitamin D may be somewhat helpful and worth considering. Specific vitamin and mineral deficiencies like iron or vitamin B12 may be diagnosed by blood tests and treated. Multiple vitamins, including biotin. While taking biotin and other supplements marketed for hair, skin, and nails probably won’t worsen anything, it may necessarily help the situation. There is anecdotal evidence that oral or topical application garlic, onion juice, saw palmetto, coconut oil, evening primrose oil, apple cider vinegar, creatine, and pumpkin seed oil are of benefit for hair loss.

Onions are often talked about when it comes to ‘curing’ baldness because they are rich in sulphur, which promotes hair growth. It has been said that rubbing onion juice on the scalp twice a week for two months can help bring dormant hair follicles back to life.
Onion juice may well have a beneficial effect on the appearance of the hair, enhancing volume and shine like a conditioner.

Indian gooseberry, also known as amla. The small green fruit, similar in appearance to a grape, is said to have astonishing health boosting properties which will prevent greying and thinning hair. Followers of Ayurvedic medicine – an ancient holistic healing system – believe that amla can keep people youthful and radiant for up to 100 years.

While most people think of liquorice as a sweet, the plant – liquorice root – is said to help many ailments including asthma, ulcers, arthritis, and hair loss.

undoubtedly contains many compounds that are beneficial to our overall health. So this can only improve a person’s chances of maintaining a healthy head of hair.

Fenugreek is celebrated for its healing properties. The seeds are said to help cure many conditions, including hair loss. When ground into paste and applied to hair, proteins in the seeds are said to strengthen hair from the roots and act as a hormone antecedent to improve hair growth. Fenugreek is believed to reduce blood sugar and cholesterol levels. It has also traditionally been thought to lower fever and soothe digestive problems.

Apple cider vinegar (raw & organic ideally) is the only thing that I recommend you ‘wash’ your hair with it. The reason I recommend apple cider vinegar is because it gently cleans the hairs and scalps without stripping away natural and important oils that protect the hairs. All chemical shampoos do strip away these natural oils and they alsodamage the scalp, deposit chemicals into the skin and damage the long term health of the scalp.
One of the biggest reasons we use apple cider vinegar is because it absorbs transdermally through the skin where it then helps to dissolve calcium deposits in the scalp. Reducing scalp calcification (i.e. deposits of calcium in the scalp) is crucially important for regrowing hair because the calcification makes it almost impossible to reestablish blood supply to the hair follicles. And when it comes to regrowing lost hair, blood supply is the ‘golden pillar.’ It is the thing that matters most.

“There are many causes of hair loss, including stress, nutrient deficiency and illness. “Keeping this in mind it is important to look after your overall health with a good diet, supplements where necessary and enough sleep and exercise. “But the most common cause of hair loss we see is male pattern balding. “With this, hair loss is caused by the testosterone derivative dihydrotestosterone (DHT) which results in the hair cycle getting shorter and the hair follicles shrinking until they eventually disappear.
