The attacks are often misdiagnosed has malaria fever. The illness is characterize by high fever, sweating, cold and other common illness. That is why is advisable to go for a checkup so doctor can run a diagnosis on the patient to confirm or rule out typhoid fever.
Typhoid fever can be life threatening if it not detected and treated at the early stages.
Ways typhoid fever can be contracted include:
+ Eating seafood from a water source contaminated by infected faeces or urine
+ Eating raw vegetables that have been fertilized with human waste
+ Contaminated milk products
+ Having oral or anal sex with a person who’s a carrier of Salmonella typhi bacteria.
It usually takes 1 to 3 weeks time for patients to develop typhoid symptoms after exposure to the bacteria. The duration of the disease is 3 to 4 weeks depending upon the severity of the disease (mild or severe) with the normal incubation time is 7 to 14 days.
The symptoms are –
* Constipation or diarrhea
* high fever (103 degree F)
* poor appetite
* enlarged spleen &
* liver roses colored spots on the chest
* chest congestion abdominal pain
* generalized pain and weakness.
Herbal Treatments Of Typhoid
Materials: 10ripe tomatoes
* 7pieces of carrot
* Bottles of water
* 1 bottle of honey
Preparation: Blend all 10 ripe tomatoes and all 7 carrots together with one bottle of water then add one bottle of honey mix them together.
Dosage: 1 Glassful thrice daily for 7days
Materials:20 balls of Citrus aurantifolia
* 8 Bottles of water
Preparation: Slice the balls of lime in two and bring to boil
Dosage: Half a glass thrice daily for 10days (Formular 2 is not good for ulcer patients)
Lipton tea or Green tea
How to prepare: Cut everything into pieces; boil with fermented corn water for one hour.
Dosage: Take a glass cup 3 times daily.
Note: wash your hand well especially with soap and boil your drinking water .
